Happy Birthday!

My little girl is now 5 yrs old.  Somehow she no longer a baby or even toddler.  She is now a darling little girl full of giggles.  She has brought such happiness into our world.  We had a party with her friends yesterday and she had a wonderful time.  We decorated with Disney’s Enchanted, the kids tossed water balloons at each other and had a water gun fight.  We had chalk art going on as well.

We have now passed the Fisher Price Little People and moved swiftly into the world of Barbie and Easy Bake Ovens.  A difference this year, that was noted by all the guests was her use of words.  From saying “Hey, Adam” to clearly saying ” Tank Eww” for her gifts.   In the last 12 months she has made such great strides with her speech.   I honestly can see that one day she will talk normally.  I am so proud of her.

Today we will play with all the toys, finish the cake and I will start writing her thank you notes.  I will hug and hold my darling little girl.  My heart will be with a women on the other side of the world, whom I am certain will be thinking of and grieving for my daughter.  I am so blessed to have this little miracle in my life.  Happy birthday sweet baby girl.
